MTS Clash Review

Brought the world by the fitness super celebrity Marc Lobliner, the original ‘Clash’ by MTS Nutrition got rave reviews and was a real success. And rightfully so! It was one of the original ‘fully dosed’ Pre Workouts Now comes a new reformulated Clash, which keeps all the original ingredients from the previous version but with one small change, and that changes the whole game.

MTS Clash Label

Serving size is defined as 2 scoops on the label, so all the ingredients we will review are for two scoops. The big change in this formula is the new BOOM! Blend, made with completely different stimulants.

 Key Ingredients & DosageOur Take
Energy & Thermogenics250 mg Caffeine AnhydrousNot a huge amount of caffeine here, but the combination with the new stimulants in the BOOM! Blend really helps enhancing workout intensity.
Endurance & Performance5g Creapure Creatine Monohydrate
3.2g Carnosyn Beta Alanine
1.5g Betaine Anhydrous
An optimal dose for creatine is around 5g, which makes the 5g here a great dose in this department and from one of the best version of creatine available

3.2g Beta Alanine here is again a really good number as it produces highly effective results and helps with anti-fatigue. And the Carnosyn version is as good as it gets.

Betaine Anhydrous - is proven by several studies to be effective in increasing power. 1.5g is a popular dosage though somewhat on the lower end.
Pump1.5g AgmaPure Agmatine Sulfate1.5g for Agmatine Sulfate is a bit over the clinical dose, as it says to between 500-1000 mg. Also, research for this ingredient is lacking, so we are not so sure about this one.
Focus & Mood500 mg N-Acetyl L-TyrosineL-Tyrosine’s effect is mostly on the mental focus part of the workout. The N-Acetyl form has shown to be significantly more effective. So 500mg is a respectful dosage.
Test Boosting60 mg BOOM! Blend (supplying Higenamine HCI, N-Methyltyramine HCI and Hordenine HCI) And here we are. This new blend is well formulated. Designed to increases focus, intensity and drive. The Higenamine has been shown to help to increase blood pressure and heart rate. N-Methyltyramine sharpens your focus and increases alertness. Hordenine enhances focus and intensity.

The Label’s Bottom Line-  With this new formula in play, the Clash stays improves on an already good pre-workout. With the 2 scoops, you get pretty much the perfect doses for most key ingredients

Taste & Mixability – It doesn’t get much better than this. This version doesn’t clamp at all and mixes really well. Plus, it comes in 6 different flavors which give you enough choices to pick from.

Effectiveness –  Like its predecessor, the new Clash gets the job done, and gets it done well. With these new stimulants, you’ll get just the amount of kick that maybe was a little missing in the older formula and that is good news.

The retail price for 20 servings (and again, serving is 2 scoops) is $36.99, on par with the PRE JYM which in a way is the direct competitor with the similar value proposition. It might sound a little expensive compared to other pre-workouts, but when it comes to value for money you are getting 3 times the ingredients of a $25 Pre Workout (which you’ll need 2-3 scoops of anyway).

MTS Products deals are rare and when they do go on a sale it’s usually up to 25% OFF savings from list price. So when you see us hunting down a 20% and up the deal, go ahead and stock up!

Overall, everything with this pre-workout says quality. The effectiveness, the doses for the most part and the price you pay for a quality product. One of the best out there.
