Panda Supplements came out of nowhere and started putting out genuinely good product after genuinely good product.

Their everyday pre workout, Fierce, is solid.

Their protein made my top protein list for the year, and that fruit cereal flavor is unreal.

Now comes my review for their Pandamic Pre Workout.

Great designs, fair prices, formulas that make sense.

Now they’ve released the extreme version, and the mascot tells the story. Fierce had a cute panda. Pandamic has a panda who has clearly been through something.

This is a tub you keep on the shelf just so one day you can tell your grandkids that grandpa messed with some crazy pandas when he was young.

I ran early samples of this for about a month before release. Here’s the label, then what actually happened.

The Label: What’s Inside

25 servings, 19.1 gram scoop. Big scoop for a big panda.

Pandamic Pre Workout Ingredients

The pump side:

  • L-Citrulline 6 g for pumps
  • Betaine 2.5 g, also contributing to pumps and cell volumization
  • Himalayan Pink Salt 100 mg for electrolytes and absorption

Simple pump formula. Citrulline, betaine, salt. That’s it.

Beta-Alanine 3.2 g. Some of you will tell me this is about lactic acid buffering. I’m telling you it’s for the tingling, and we like the tingling here. If you’re not a tingling person, there’s a yoga channel out there somewhere with your name on it.

The focus side:

  • L-Tyrosine 750 mg
  • Alpha-GPC 400 mg. The clinical dose people quote is 600.

And listen, I’ve said this repeatedly on the channel: clinical dose in most of these ingredients means nothing, because the research behind those numbers is so fluffy. That’s exactly why labels are just labels. I’ll come back to this.

Caffeine 350 mg. Perfect amount. If you can build a pre workout that works at 350, you don’t need more.

L-Theanine 150 mg. You heard this here first, and remember where you heard it: theanine does not belong in a pre workout. Somebody decided at some point that it prevents crash, and the whole industry copied it. It’s a sedative. It chills you out.

Dendrobium 100 mg. Focus with a bit of mood lift. I actually like this one.

The stimulant and thermogenic complex: higenamine, synephrine, isopropylnorsynephrine, N-methyltyramine, and theophylline. The NMT I like. Theophylline I have a complicated relationship with.

So from a stimulant, focus and thermogenesis perspective, this is a comprehensive formula.

But here’s the part I say every review. This label, like every other label on the planet, means nothing on its own.

You either feel it or you don’t. You either crash or you don’t. You either get the mood elevation or you don’t.

If it were as simple as printing ingredients on a tub and making people fly, everybody would do it.

What matters is ingredient quality, how the compounds interact with each other, and whether they actually put in what they claim.

My Experience: Does Pandamic Deliver?

Here is what I felt after a couple runs with this Panda:

1. Tingling and Onset

The beta-alanine tingling hits within about five minutes. I love this, and here’s why. You know that moment where you’re standing around asking yourself whether it’s time yet, whether it’s kicked in? You don’t get that moment with Pandamic. The tingles arrive, you get that warm fuzzy buzz, and your body decides for you. Time to move.

2. Energy

Energy peaks around 15 to 20 minutes in. That’s fast. Plenty of pre workouts need 30 or 40 minutes to reach the top.

The kick is not overwhelming. This isn’t one of those tubs where you’re in the gym focusing on survival instead of lifting weights. That’s not what this panda is about.

3. Focus and Mood

Focus is excellent. Very smooth, very locked in.

Mood elevation is not euphoria, and you should set expectations accordingly. What you get is productivity. You feel motivated, you feel capable, and you get through the session with real intensity. Productive rather than floaty.

4. Thermogenesis

Above average, and consistently. I sweat more than normal on this every single time. You feel the heat, and it reads as a positive.

5. Pumps

Solid, but let’s be honest about where they come from. Ninety percent of your pump is how hard you actually work. Good mood plus good focus plus good energy equals harder training equals better pump. Did the formula itself give me crazy pumps? No. Formula-wise these are average. The training is what delivers.

6. Duration and Comedown

The energy carried me at real intensity for about an hour and a half, then faded out.

Here’s the honest trade-off. Pandamic does not have that three to four hour post-workout buzz some tubs give you. Whether that’s a problem depends entirely on you:

  • Train early morning like I do and want the buzz carrying you into your actual workday? You’ll miss it.
  • Train in the evening and need this stuff out of your system before bed? Perfect.

Maybe that’s the theanine. Maybe it’s something else. Labels are just labels. But it does wear off.

No crash. No heart rate spike. No side effects whatsoever.

The Final Verdict

Panda did a good job here. Pandamic sits in an interesting spot: a hard-hitting experience for people who want to be hit but don’t want to feel like they’re gambling with their heart.

Call it a healthy stim junkie pre workout, if such a thing exists. This panda looks like he’s been through hell, but he’s actually in very good shape.
