Smash AMF by KJ Labs has landed in my bunker for review.
Let me start with the honest truth: this thing looks like someone hand mixed it in a bathtub in New Jersey and then had a friend’s kid design the label in Microsoft Paint.
No website. No online presence. Nothing. This company essentially does not exist on the internet.
I sat on this tub for two or three weeks before I even touched it, because everything about it screamed “waste of money.”
Then I finally took a scoop, and I have now used it ten times across two months, because I needed to be absolutely sure that what I was feeling was real.
Here is the short version: this is one of the wildest pre-workout experiences I have had in years, and the label makes zero sense.
One scoop is 10 grams. Here is what KJ Labs claims is in Smash AMF:

Pump and Performance
Focus
The Stim Package
Look at that list. There is no Eria Jarensis. No DMHA. No PEA. No Alpha Yohimbine. Nothing exotic.
The doses that are there are strange in both directions: 1,500 mg of beta-alanine makes no sense, 20 mg of grape seed extract does nothing, 5 mg of NMT is a rounding error, and 2.5 mg of evodiamine is a garnish.
On paper, this label is more benign than a mainstream tub off the shelf at a big box store. On paper, you should feel almost nothing beyond the caffeine.
Labels are just labels.
I have been doing this for six years and this is exactly the pattern I built this channel around.
Arez White had a nothing label and had people flying like they took amphetamines.
Excelsior out of Jersey had a label that read like a joke and left people feeling drugged out. Dark Energy did the same thing. First batches from unknown companies with no web presence are where this stuff lives.
Also worth noting on purity: two products can list the same ingredient at the same dose and feel completely different. DMHA is the classic example. Some tubs list 100 mg and hit like a truck because the raw material is high purity. Others list 200 mg and you feel nothing, either because the purity is garbage or because it never actually made it into the tub. Which cuts both ways.
I took a flat scoop the first time with genuinely zero expectations. About 15 minutes in, the energy kicked, and my immediate reaction was that this does not feel like 350 mg of caffeine. It comes on fast and it comes on differently. There is a tingle, but it is not the standard beta-alanine tingle. It is its own thing.
That was the first sign that something else is going on in this tub.
Around the 30 minute mark, the focus arrives, and I want to be careful with my words here because “focus” undersells it. This is not focus. This is a tunnel. Deep, intense, locked-in tunnel vision that made me feel like a robot getting things done.
And it does not fade after the workout. I was dialed in for five to six hours off a single scoop. On a flat scoop I could tell there was more in there waiting, so I moved to a rounded scoop for the last three or four sessions, and the rounded scoop takes you somewhere else entirely.
If you have ever taken something and thought “this is what being medicated for focus must feel like,” that is the neighborhood.
Here is the part that really does not add up. Three to four hours post-workout, I got a second kick of energy. Heart rate up, real burst, almost to the point where I wanted to go train again.
It feels like Alpha Yohimbine, except there is no Alpha Yohimbine on this label. It never crossed into that panicky survival mode territory, but it is unmistakable and it happens consistently.
Do not take this in the evening if you plan on sleeping.
Total shutdown for five to six hours. This is top tier appetite suppression, and I am comparing it to the best I have ever experienced, which was Excelsior, then Thermal Spark, then the original formula of Phenta Plex before they reformulated it into something much softer.
Nothing on this label should suppress appetite like this.
There is mood elevation, but it is not the euphoric, music-sounds-better Eria Jarensis type. It is focused mood elevation. You feel good because you are getting things done and you are completely locked in.
Tiger’s Blood. It is fine. Perfectly okay.
If you are shopping for a pre-workout that was quite possibly hand mixed in Jersey and clearly contains something not on the label, and your deciding factor is flavor, you are in the wrong place.
Move on with your life.
The label says nothing, the price is high for a formula that theoretically contains almost nothing, the company has no website, and the effects are wildly out of proportion to what is printed on the tub. All the signs are there, and I have seen this movie enough times to recognize it.
What you get is the most intense focus I have felt from a pre-workout in a very long time, five to six hours of tunnel vision, brutal appetite suppression, and a second wave of energy hours after you have left the gym. If you train and then need to work, this is a different category of product.
Who this is for: experienced stim junkies who know exactly what they are signing up for and want that deep-tunnel, dialed-in experience.
Who this is not for: anyone new to hardcore pre-workouts, anyone sensitive to stimulants, anyone who trains in the evening, and anyone who wants to know exactly what they are putting in their body. You are an adult. Make your own call.
Rounded scoop. Daytime only.
