What Is It?

Have any of you fitness fans heard of Amino9 recently? If you haven’t, you should know that it is the newest custom blend of EAAs by Compound Solutions. Amino9 is a blend of nine essential amino acids. It has been clinically substantiated by Compound Solutions for making the blend as optimum and effective as possible. According to Compound Solutions, Amino9 is what the body needs for optimizing muscle protein synthesis (MPS).

What Does It Do?

When it comes to muscle building, there is an extremely simple mechanism that is at play: for muscles to build, the rate of muscle anabolism must be greater than the rate of muscle catabolism. The difference between anabolism and catabolism is known as Net Protein Balance (NPB). It is a matter of commonsense that higher the NPB, the higher the growth in muscles will be. Amino9 has been shown by research to promote anabolism and restrict catabolism, thus boosting NPB and MPS.

Essential Amino Acids—especially in blends similar to Amino9—have been known to stimulate muscle protein synthesis (MPS) in a manner that is similar to whey protein. What this means is that while EAAs and whey protein might not be perfect substitutes, a case could be made for suggesting that they are similar in the matter of MPS at least. According to research actually, Essential Amino Acids are able to activate muscle protein synthesis while resulting into a lower spike in insulin. What this means is that using EAAs, such as Amino9, instead of whey protein might be more beneficial to the cause of MPS.

When you speak of BCAAs, the fact that they aid MPS is known to one and all. Research suggests, however, that their importance is overshadowed by what EAAs have got to offer. It is because the three branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs) are present in EAAs – namely: leucine, isoleucine and valine. BCAAs, on their own, are able to stimulate up to 22 percent more muscle protein synthesis than placebo. When they are included in EAAs, the results are 50 percent greater as compared to BCAAs in isolation.

How is it different than EAA?

Well, to some extent its not different. What is different is that these are high quality aminos (free form) which are also in the specific dosage and the proportions recommended by the National Academy of Sciences to optimize protein synthesis and tissue repair

When Do I Take It?

Amino9 can be taken at a number of instances, for several reasons. Here are the most important of them:

Pre-Workout: Since Amino9 comprises of the nine amino acids that our bodies do not produce naturally, their intake as part of pre-workout supplement allows you to benefit from improved strength and performance, meaning that you are able to have a better time working out.

Intra-Workout: The consumption of Amino9 as part of intra-workout supplements is recommended because it stimulates MPS and muscle recovery. On top of that, it delivers better muscular growth as well, resulting into boosted gains and pumps during workout sessions.

Post-Workout: If you think about it, post-workout is THE time for muscle protein synthesis and that is exactly what you get with Amino9 and other top notch EAAs, right?

Muscular Health: Considering how Amino9 is beneficial for muscle recovery, its usage is recommended for older adults who are suffering from muscular loss.

How Long Does It Take To Work?

Amino9 offers a free-form formulation of EAA, meaning that it is a fast acting formulation that has got an impact almost instantly. This is the reason why it can be used in pre, intra and post workout supplements.
