Alpha Lion is a company that exploded into the supplement world only 3 years ago, and since has garnered a huge following and a broad supplement line with the SuperHuman pre-workout family at its core. Partially due to the increased popularity and the brand main stream status, the company has been reformulating its pre-workouts. Notably taking out the controversial DMHA in pre workouts like Superhuman Supreme.
In this Superhuman Supreme Pre Workout Review, we find out if the OG Pre Workout from Alpha Lion still reigns supreme!
You can get a tub of Superhuman Supreme fo 20% at Supps Central.
All flavors that I tried of the SuperHuman Supreme were awesome, just like the original. So assume you are good on flavor no matter what choice you make.
Let’s cut to the chase, this version is as good as the original and in at least one area better in my opinion. The post workout effect is significantly more apparent with this version and the energy buzz stays with you for a good 2 hours post workout.
In addition I found the energy, focus, and mood elevation to be on point across the board. This is not a super hard hitting pre-workout but more of a perfectly balanced productive pre-workout for advanced users.
Oh, and the pumps are on point! One thing worth mentioning is that it does take more that the previous version to kick in, coming in at close to 25 minutes.
All in all, you really can’t go wrong with SuperHuman Supreme.
One thing that is not in this Alpha Lion pre workout is DMHA. But asides from that, Superhuman Supreme boasts a a really solid ingredient label with stimulants such as caffeine, Eria Jarensis, and Citrulline Malate.
Alpha Lion replaced DMHA with Juniper Berry Extract and 200 mg of ERIA Jarenesis which join the already stocked ingredient list.
In addition, there is 375 mg of dual-sourced caffeine, 3500 mg of Beta-Alanine, 7000 mg of Citrulline Malate. Not to mention the 1000 mg of L-Taurine and 2500 mg of Betaine Anhydrous.
But the most important change from the original SuperHuman Supreme version, in my opinion, is actually not what was added but actually what was reduced!
Alpha Lion took the amount of L-Theanine down by 50% which the large amount in the original was essentially my only issue with the pre-workout as I felt it hindered some of the energy potential of the product.
A frontrunner for the best DMAA pre workout of 2020, Crack Pre Workout rose to the top with 120 mg DMAA. Similarly, the Dark Labs pre workout dials you in for the whole of your gym session and the pumps are insane.
Excelsior has become a somewhat staple in the pre workout game. Known for its tunnel vision focus and enhanced energy. If you like hardcore pre workouts, you would want to get your hands on this.
One of my absolute favorite pre workouts of all time, Assassin V6 is a super hard-hitter. While it does not have DMAA or any other ingredients us Stim Junkies love, this pre workout is one of the most well-made pre workouts I have ever tried.
